The role of the Open Wide Primary School Team is to inspire young children. We organise visits to primary schools so that kids can really get a feel for the university atmosphere. Our workshops target children very early within their education so that we can achieve the following aims: 

 

• support the identified needs of primary schools in raising the aspirations of young students

• raise awareness of the crucial roles within the dental team and emphasise the importance of teamwork

• create a positive image of dentistry and counteract the negative image portrayed in the media and news

• teach kids how to look after their teeth and how to eat healthy
